If you’re visiting Beso Del Sol Resort this fall, consider a day trip to explore the fun Halloween events going on around the Tampa area.
There are a lot more than four, but we think these are worth the drive.
Howl-O-Scream® at Busch Gardens
One of Tampa’s premier Halloween events is back select nights from September 23 through October 30, 2016, full of surprises and scares around every corner. The streets will be swarmed with hundreds of roaming creatures, a chilling live show and the chance to challenge Florida’s top thrill rides in the dark (like Falcon’s Fury, Cobra’s Curse™, and Cheetah Hunt®).
Guppyween at the Florida Aquarium
GuppyWHAT? It’s just too adorable. Go trick or treating October 29 & 30 among more than 20,000 sea creatures at the Florida Aquarium. Kids in costume get in for $10, Aquarium members and children under two are free. Adults pay regular admission.
Creatures of the Night at Lowry Park Zoo
From October 7-29, you can encounter the animals at night, scare yourself silly in “scare zones” and dance the night away at a hauntingly fun dance party. New this year, Asia, Africa and Primate World will be illuminated for night viewing until 10 p.m. This experience is included with an all-day admission, or you can go for just $19.95 after 4 p.m.
March of the Pumpkin King in Ybor City
Cavort in costume on the famed 7th Avenue in Ybor as the Pumpkin King and his loyal spooks, I mean subjects, lead the first every people’s parade in Tampa on October 29. It’s the ultimate Halloween party with DJs, costumes, and Halloween floats.
These are just a few of the haunting Halloween Happenings in Tampa. If these don’t get you in the spooky spirit, check out these other Halloween events happening all over the area.
