December in Dunedin

There’s a lot happening in December, so we’re making a list you can check twice to find out what might be happening during your stay at Beso Del Sol Resort.

Saturday, December 3

Dunedin Youth Guild Tour of Homes, 10 a.m – 4 p.m.
Support a good cause and see some stunning holiday décor with the Dunedin Youth Guild tour of seven homes and one church, all decked out for the holidays. Refreshments served after. Proceeds from this event benefit the Dunedin Youth Guild’s youth scholarship program and other youth-focused community improvement projects.

Holiday Boat Parade & Tree Lighting, 6-9 p.m.
Drop by the Dunedin Marina/Edgewater Park to see the beautifully lit and decorated boats sail down the water. Enjoy holiday music and S’mores while waiting for Santa to arrive by boat and lead the countdown in the lighting of the City’s Christmas tree.

Friday, December 9

2nd Friday Night on the Town, 5:30-9 p.m.
The monthly 2nd Friday event is a great way to explore downtown Dunedin. It always starts in Pioneer Park, with beer, wine and live music.

Saturday, December 10

Old Fashioned Christmas & Holiday Parade, 4 – 9 p.m,
Watch Santa arrive during the Holiday street parade then stay downtown for carriage rides, train rides, snow slide, kids crafts, old fashioned games, live music entertainment and snow flurries! Parade begins on Douglas Avenue.

Friday December 16

Drive-In Movie Night, Home Alone
Enjoy an evening of music, trivia and a movie under the night sky at Highlander Park. Tune in to your car radio to listen to the movie. Park opens at 5 p.m., movie begins at dark. $10/car.
