Dunedin Wines the Blues Festival

Come drink and dance at one of Dunedin’s most popular festivals. This year, Beso Del Sol Resort is the official Host Hotel of the 24th Annual Wines the Blues Festival, and will be home to guests as well as headlining musical acts.

On Saturday, November 14, more than 30,000 visitors will converge on the Dunedin area for one of the best slices of culture you’ll find in Florida. The Wines the Blues Festival is a tasteful combination of some of the country’s best blues music and select wine from all over the world. How can you go wrong with that combination?

You can get your wine and blues at Main Street in Downtown Dunedin. Purchase and taste wine from more than two dozen vineyards spanning many varietals and enjoy music performed on four stages:

  • Main stage at Pioneer Park
  • West End Stage near the Chamber of Commerce Building
  • East End Stage near The Living Room
  • Broadway Stage near Enchanted Spirits

Headlining acts on the main stage include internationally renowned blues guitarist Matt Schofield, soulful blues band with a New Orleans undertone Ari & The Alibis and seasoned blues gurus The Kinsey Report, with Alex Lopez Express, Kelly Mettling Band, Trigger City Trio and more on the other stages.

Performances start at 3 p.m. and run continuously until 11:00 p.m.

The Wines the Blues Festival is so popular organizers are hoping to grow it into a full two- or three-day event in the near future.

If you were lucky enough to get a room at Host Hotel Beso Del Sol Resort this year, you’ll be in for a treat. If not, you can always plan for next year.
