Fat Tuesday Rolls through Dunedin, Florida

Bourbon Street meets Main Street at the annual Dunedin Mardi Gras Parade and Festival in Downtown Dunedin, Florida.

Laissez les bon temps roulez! If you’re at Beso Del Sol Resort this Tuesday, February 13, don’t miss the festivities just a few miles from the resort.

You don’t have to go to New Orleans. Dunedin has a long-standing tradition of doing Mardi Gras right! It starts with live music, continues with the colorful parade, goes on with more live music and then the celebration spills into local bars and restaurants for a night of New Orleans fun Florida style.

  • Festival begins in Pioneer Park at 4 p.m.

  • Parade steps off at 7 p.m., (think 50+ floats throwing  beads)

  • Live music and party continues in the park until 10 p.m.

  • Pick your next stop as the party continues at local bars and restaurants

The musical lineup on the main stages includes performances from Danielle Mohr & The Moonlight Madness, Edge of Red and Gumbo Boogie.

A food truck court along with other vendors will line Main Street. The parade features floats and of course the lovely Mardi Gras King and Queen.

VIP Lounge Tickets are available, which includes unlimited beer and wine, hors d’ oeuvres from Dunedin’s finest restaurants, the ultimate viewing area and of course lots of beads.

VIP tickets are available online for $100 plus a $3.95 service fee at liveeventsaccess.com.

It’s a heck of a party and we hope you’ll be staying with us at Beso Del Sol Resort for the celebration.

Where do you like to celebrate Mardi Gras?
